Coaches

Per WNL rules, all coaches at this competition are REQUIRED to have an up-to-date WNL Floor Certification. At the time of registration, you will need to enter your coach name and coach Ninjaworks ID. It is your responsibility to communicate with your coach regarding their certification status. We are not able to follow up with every coach that may or may not be certified prior to the event. Upon arrival, certified coaches will receive a coach wristband for the event. Only certified coaches will be permitted on the floor, including rules walkthroughs and the athlete's run. This includes parents and/or friends, even if you are not coaching.

The steps to complete this include:

• Signing up for a Ninjaworks account, and adding a profile photo.
• Completing the Floor Certification training and exam. Cost is $49.99 for new coaches, with discount if you're recertifying.
• Completing the Abuse Prevention Training through Safesport. Cost is $19, with discount if recertifying.
• Background check via SportsEngine. Cost is $25.50 for US residents (good for five years), or $155 for international residents (good for 10 years).

A certified coach must complete ALL of the steps to be certified. If any of these steps are not completed, it will result in a status of "Pending" in Ninjaworks, which is not an acceptable status to receive a coach wristband.

Background checks can take additional time to clear, so be sure you complete all of this at least two weeks ahead of the competition to ensure you're cleared.
